The company is established to develop and operate the National Juvenile Justice Legal Research & Resource Platform — the research and publishing project through which materials are created, organized, and disseminated.
This distinction keeps the structure clear: the LLC is the legal entity; the Platform is the national research and resource project it develops and operates.

Why the Initiative Exists
Important reform questions are often divided across statutes, agencies, and disciplines.
Juvenile justice and child-protection systems frequently contain gaps, inconsistencies, overlapping rules, and uneven implementation. Relevant knowledge may be dispersed across legislation, court doctrine, agency practice, education policy, developmental research, and international standards.
The Initiative responds by organizing these materials into coherent legal-policy tools. The goal is not to impose a single answer, but to make system choices more visible, comparable, and measurable.
