Abstract
The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the legal phenomenon of systematization of legislation. It examines in detail the types of legislative systematization, presents scholarly views regarding the place and role of each type in the systematization of Ukrainian legislation, and provides specific examples of systematized normative acts.
Attention is also given to foreign experience in legislative systematization, particularly consolidation. The study considers accounting of normative acts, incorporation, consolidation, and codification as related but distinct methods for organizing legal material, eliminating inconsistencies, and improving the accessibility and effectiveness of legislation.
